In this episode of Minute GarageBand, we’re going show you how to select multiple regions within a GarageBand track, or across multiple tracks.
There are several ways to select multiple regions in GarageBand.
The first and most obvious method is to simply drag-select across contiguous regions within a track.
However, you are not restricted to a single track using this method you can drag select any number of contiguous regions across any number of contiguous tracks as well.
If you run into a situation in which the regions you want to select are not contiguous, in a single track, or across multiple tracks, you can hold down the shift key to select each region by clicking on it In addition to using the shift key to select regions, you can use it to de-select regions as well.
This can be used in combination with the drag-select method to quickly select a number of regions, and then deselect the ones you don’t want to be included, instead of clicking on each one that you do want.
That’s all we have for this episode we hope you found it useful.
