In this episode of Minute GarageBand, we’re going show you options for getting a more precise view of a region within a GarageBand track.
GarageBand offers four tools that you can use to view a region in finer detail, each one offering a more refined view of it.
First off there’s the zoom slider for use within the timeline.
Located in the lower-left corner of the window, directly beneath the track headers, you can drag this slider to the right to zoom in more, or left to zoom back out.
If you need an even more refined look at your region you can open the track editor by clicking on the scissor icon.
Once open you can increase the height of the waveform by dragging the resize bar located between the timeline and the editor pane.
Finally, there’s a zoom slider dedicated to the editor pane which works exactly the same as the one for the timeLine, but giving you a much more zoomed-in view of the region; Once again, drag right to zoom in, and left to zoom out.
That’s all we have for this episode we hope you found it useful,
